Greentree Park

Locals know this one’s a sleeper — quiet street, big shade trees, and a sandbox that actually gets some use. The playground covers the basics well for the under-12 crowd: slides, swings, and enough open grass that kids can burn energy without getting in each other’s way. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables and BBQ area make it easy to stretch the afternoon. What really sets it apart is the walking path that connects out toward the trails — it’s a nice way to wind down after the kids have had their fill of the sandbox. One of those neighborhood parks that doesn’t try too hard and is better for it.
