If you live in Los Alamos and have kids anywhere between toddler age and tweens, this park earns its keep. The enclosed setup is a genuine bonus — you’re not constantly scanning the perimeter to see where your kid wandered off to. There’s a basketball court that actually gets used, slides and swings for the younger ones, and picnic tables that make it easy to stretch an afternoon into a full family outing. Dogs are welcome too, which the neighborhood crowd seems to appreciate. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid and well-suited for birthday parties or just a low-key weekend afternoon.
