Urban Park Playground

If you’re looking for a spot in Los Alamos that actually does a little of everything, this is probably it. The playground side covers the basics well — slides, swings, and a climbing structure that keeps the under-12 crowd busy — but what makes it worth the trip is everything else. There’s a basketball court, a bike track, and a walking path, plus a decent stretch of open grass when the kids just need to run. Pack food, because the BBQ area and picnic tables under the shade trees make it easy to turn a quick outing into a full afternoon. Restrooms on site too, which honestly makes all the difference with little ones.
