Tucked inside Thomas R. Proctor Park, this skate spot is where Utica’s skate scene actually shows up. It’s not the biggest setup you’ll ever see, but locals make it work — you’ll find skaters here on any decent-weather day running lines and working on tricks. Proctor Park itself gives it a good backdrop, with plenty of space to hang between sessions. If you’re hungry after, there are eateries close enough that grabbing food afterward is an easy call.
