Ault Park

If you live on the east side of Cincinnati and haven’t made Ault Park part of your regular routine, you’re genuinely missing out. The cherry blossoms in spring draw a crowd for good reason, but honestly the wooded trails and scenic overlooks are worth the trip any time of year. Pack a lunch — there are plenty of picnic tables and shade trees — and plan to stay longer than you think you need to. The bike track and open grass fields give kids (and adults) room to actually move, and the walking paths connect naturally into the forest edges for anyone wanting something a little more than a casual stroll. Restrooms and parking make it easy, and the whole place has this unhurried, neighborhood-park energy that’s hard to find in a green space this size.
