Owl’s Nest Park

One of the better-kept parks on this side of Cincinnati, honestly. The shade trees actually do their job on a hot July afternoon, and there’s enough seating nearby that parents aren’t standing around the whole time. Kids from toddlers up through teenagers can find something here — slides, swings, and a seesaw for the little ones, a solid basketball court for the older crowd, and a big open grass field when someone inevitably wants to just run. The walking path gets regular use too, especially on weekends when the whole place turns into a neighborhood reunion. Restrooms are on-site and, more importantly, they’re kept clean — which, if you’ve been to enough city parks, you know isn’t something to take for granted.
