Playground at Eden Park

If you live on the east side of Cincinnati, this spot in Eden Park is basically your go-to on a weekday morning when you need to get the kids out of the house. The climbing structure and swings keep the 2-to-10 crowd genuinely busy, and there’s a water feature that younger ones especially lose their minds over. Shade trees and covered seating mean you’re not roasting while you watch them, and the picnic tables make it easy to stretch the visit into lunch. You’ve also got the Cincinnati Art Museum and Krohn Conservatory within easy walking distance, so it works as a half-day thing if you’re feeling ambitious. The views toward the Ohio River don’t hurt either — it’s a legit nice place to spend a few hours.
