Southpark Playground

Down in Emporium, this spot is pretty much what the community relies on for some open-air hangout time. The grass field is the real draw — plenty of room to kick a ball around, let the dog stretch out, or just spread a blanket and decompress. It’s an urban park in a small town, which means it pulls in everyone from little kids to older folks just looking for fresh air. Nothing fancy, but that’s kind of the point.
