Greene Township Playground

One of the bigger playgrounds in the Erie area, and honestly one of the better ones for families with kids at different ages — there are separate areas for toddlers and older kids, so nobody’s getting bulldozed by a ten-year-old on the climbing structure. The play train is a genuine hit, and the tall spiral slide gets plenty of use from the older crowd. Adaptive swings and an accessible merry-go-round make this a solid pick if you have a child with disabilities, which you don’t always see at parks this size. There are restrooms and picnic tables on-site, plus a paved walking path that runs near the woods if you want to stretch your legs after the kids wear themselves out. Pack a lunch — you’ll probably be here longer than you planned.
