Playground

Out at the tip of Presque Isle, this place is genuinely unlike any playground you’ve seen around Erie. The whole thing is built from driftwood, rocks, and corrugated pipes — it looks like it grew right out of the lakeshore, and kids absolutely lose their minds exploring it. Tunnels, climbing obstacles, and a couple of bucket swings keep the toddler crowd busy for a solid hour. When you’re done chasing them around, there’s a shaded shelter with a grill, picnic tables, and benches — so you can actually sit down and eat like a human being. Best suited for the 2-8 crowd, and honestly one of the more thoughtfully designed spots on the peninsula.
