Fort Discovery is one of those playgrounds where you can actually relax a little — the layout gives parents solid sightlines no matter where the kids wander, which is a bigger deal than people realize. It’s a solid chunk of play space for ages 2-12, with enough going on to keep younger kids genuinely busy. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables make it easy to stretch the visit out. Older kids tend to migrate over to the adjacent skate park, which honestly extends the whole trip for families with mixed ages. Restrooms on site too, so no scrambling when someone suddenly has to go.
