Northwest Spray Park

If you live on the northwest side of Irving and haven’t figured out that this spray park is basically your summer survival plan, you’re missing out. The splash pad keeps kids in the 2-12 range genuinely occupied while parents can actually sit down — there are benches, picnic tables, and enough shade trees that you’re not melting watching them run through the water jets. Restrooms are on-site, parking is easy, and the open grass field gives bigger kids somewhere to burn off energy after they’re done getting soaked. The walking path is a nice bonus if you want to lap the park while someone else keeps an eye on things. It’s a straightforward, well-set-up spot that the neighborhood relies on pretty heavily once the Texas heat kicks in.
