Cambridge Heights Park

Honestly one of the better spots in Round Rock for the under-5 crowd — the shade trees actually do their job here, which matters a lot come July. The climbing structure is sized just right for little kids, nothing too intimidating, and the tunnels keep toddlers busy for longer than you’d expect. That astroturf paddock is a nice touch, stays cleaner than a regular grass patch and gives them room to run around after they’ve worn out the playscape. Benches are right there in the shade, so you’re not standing in the sun watching them. It’s a quiet neighborhood park, no frills, but well-kept and easy to get in and out of with a parking lot right there.
