Forest Bluff Playground

If you’re already using the Brushy Creek trail system, this spot makes a convenient stop — the playground connects right into it, so you can chain together a bike ride or walk without backtracking. It’s a newer addition to the area, and the open grass field is genuinely useful for kids who just need space to run or throw a frisbee around. Bring your own shade situation though, because there’s not much tree cover and Round Rock summers are no joke. The picnic tables and benches are solid for hanging out while the kids do their thing. Nothing overly elaborate, but that’s kind of the point — it works well as a trail-access park.
