Deep Run Park Playground 2

If you’re a Henrico County local, you probably already know Deep Run is one of those parks that actually delivers. Playground 2 has slides and swings covering a solid age range, so younger kids and older ones aren’t fighting over the same equipment. The shade trees here are no joke — it’s genuinely comfortable in July, which is not something you can say about most Richmond playgrounds. Pack a lunch because there are picnic tables and a BBQ area, and when the kids are done playing, the walking path and bike track give everyone a reason to stick around longer. Restrooms, parking, a pond nearby, and trails that edge up toward the forest make this one of the more complete park setups in the area.
