Silver Lake Playground

If you haven’t been out to Silver Lake since they redid the play area, it’s worth making the trip. The sandbox and water feature keep younger kids busy for way longer than you’d expect, and there’s enough open grass that older ones can just run without anyone tripping over each other. Shaded seating means parents actually get to sit down, which — honestly, not every park around here figures that out. The walking path along the lake is one of the nicer easy strolls in Everett, and with the beach right there, you can easily stretch a quick playground visit into a full afternoon.
