Chiawana Park

If you haven’t made it out to this stretch along the Columbia River, you’re missing one of Pasco’s better-kept secrets. The walking paths here are genuinely good — wide, well-maintained, and the river views make you forget you’re in the middle of the Tri-Cities. Shade trees are scattered throughout, so you’re not baking in the sun while the kids run around on the open grass, and the restrooms are actually kept clean, which matters more than people admit. Dogs are welcome, the scenery does the heavy lifting, and it’s the kind of place locals come back to on weekends without needing much of a reason.
