The Fun Bowl

Locals call it the Fun Bowl for a reason — it’s literally a bowl-shaped depression filled with sand, which makes it one of the more unusual spots you’ll find in Pasco. Kids of all ages dig it (pun intended), and there’s something about the geography itself that becomes the attraction. The natural contours of the terrain create this built-in play environment that you don’t really need to explain to a kid — they just get it and run straight in. On a clear day the views from the rim are actually pretty solid, which gives parents something to look at while the little ones bury each other.
