Right off the bat, this place stands out for how seriously it takes accessibility — fully wheelchair and walker friendly, with soft fall surfacing throughout so younger kids can tumble without drama. The enclosed layout makes it genuinely easy to keep an eye on everyone, which parents around here really appreciate. There’s a solid climbing structure that works for the 2-year-old crowd all the way up to kids around 13, plus picnic tables (including a ship-shaped one that the kids lose their minds over), shaded seating, and restrooms on-site. The fairy lighting gives it a quirky character you don’t expect from a Spokane park, and with a walking path nearby and forest trails close by, you can easily make a full afternoon out of it. Honestly one of the more thoughtfully designed playscapes in the city.
