Corning Preserve Playground

Right along the Hudson, this little playground punches above its weight as a full-day hangout for families with younger kids. Pack a lunch, fire up a grill, and let the adults decompress while the little ones do their thing. The walking and bike path runs alongside the river and past a pond — ducks included — so there’s plenty to explore once everyone’s done eating.
