If you’re local, you already know how good the views get out here — the bay stretching out in front of you while the kids run around on the grass. It’s more of a scenic overlook with open space than a full-on playground setup, so best for families who don’t mind a looser, explore-whatever-you-find kind of afternoon. The proximity to Shorebird Park and the water means there’s plenty to keep 3 to 10-year-olds entertained if they’re the type who don’t need a swing set to have a good time. Trails nearby add another option if you want to make a longer outing of it.
