If you haven’t taken your kids to the adventure playground here, you’re missing one of the better-kept secrets on the east bay shoreline. It’s a genuine adventure setup — not the sanitized, liability-conscious stuff you see everywhere else — and kids actually go wild for it. The bay views from the walking path are legitimately good, the kind that make you stop mid-stride and just look for a minute. It’s close enough to the water that you get that salt air feeling without having to haul gear to an actual beach. Weekends get busy, but honestly, it’s the kind of busy that feels right for a spot this good.
