Adventure Playground

If you’ve never taken a kid to Adventure Playground, you’re genuinely missing one of the coolest spots in the East Bay. Right near the Berkeley Marina, this place hands children actual tools and recycled materials and just… lets them build stuff. Forts, structures, whatever they dream up — plus there’s a zipline, climbing gear, tunnels, and musical equipment for when the construction projects need a break. It’s a little chaotic and totally intentional, designed for ages 6-13 who want to actually *do* something instead of just playing on a standard plastic structure. Parking, restrooms, and an enclosed area make it easy for parents too, but honestly the kids won’t want to leave.
