Highfield Adventure Playground

A solid local favourite for families with little ones up to school age, this fully enclosed playground in Sheffield packs in more than you’d expect — zipline, slides, sandbox, and a basketball court for older kids who’ve outgrown the sand. Parents can actually relax on the benches because the fencing and sightlines do their job properly. There’s a BBQ area too, which makes it easy to turn an afternoon visit into something longer, especially in summer when the shade trees earn their keep. Parking’s available, loos are on site, and the walking path around the grass field gives you somewhere to stretch your legs while the kids do their thing.
