Endcliffe Park Playground

If you live on the Ecclesall Road side of Sheffield, chances are Endcliffe is your local park by default — and honestly, you could do a lot worse. The playground has a decent climbing structure that keeps kids genuinely occupied, plus slides that actually get used rather than ignored. It’s fully enclosed, which makes a real difference if you’ve got a runner on your hands, and the sightlines are good enough that you’re not constantly craning your neck. Beyond the play area, there’s open grass and a walking path along the Porter Brook, so it’s easy to make a proper afternoon of it rather than just a quick stop.
