The zipline and bank of swings keep kids genuinely busy here, and for a small local park it punches above its weight. Little ones from about 2 upwards get decent use out of it, though the surfacing under the equipment has seen better days — worth knowing if you’ve got wobbly walkers. The basketball court and open grass field mean older kids aren’t just standing around waiting their turn. What people don’t always mention is the plane spotting — you get a surprisingly good view of aircraft on approach, which honestly entertains the adults as much as the kids. Just be aware there’s been some vandalism issues over the years, so it’s one of those places you’d rather visit during busier times of day.
