Cannon Hill Park Play Area

Honestly, Cannon Hill is one of those parks that earns its reputation. The play area has the usual swings plus a tire swing and a zipline that kids absolutely lose their minds over — expect a queue on weekends. Shade trees keep things bearable in summer, and the picnic tables right nearby mean you can actually sit down while keeping an eye on the little ones. The lake is just a short wander away, which makes for a decent loop on the walking path once everyone’s had their fill of the equipment. A solid half-day out, no question.
