Reddings Lane Playground and Park

Locals from the surrounding streets use this one regularly, and it’s easy to see why — it’s just a solid, no-fuss park that does what it needs to do. There’s outdoor exercise equipment if you fancy a workout without paying for a gym, plus a decent stretch of walking path that gets plenty of use from dog walkers and early morning joggers. The open grass field gives kids room to actually run about, which you don’t always get in urban parks around Birmingham. Parking’s available on site, so it’s not just for those within walking distance. Nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point.
