Shelton’s Field play area

Right on the edge of some decent trail access, Shelton’s Field is a solid little spot that the local families genuinely use rather than just stumble across. You’ve got slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox — nothing flashy, but kids in that 3-10 range tend to stay occupied for a good while. The walking path nearby means you can let the older ones burn off energy while the little ones dig around in the sand. Parking’s there when you need it, which makes a difference. It’s the kind of community park that doesn’t try too hard but just works.
