Honestly, it’s a pretty no-frills spot — just a solid stretch of open grass right in the middle of Bangor. But sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially when the kids just want to burn off some energy without any faff. Being central means you can easily tack it onto a trip into town rather than making a special journey. Don’t expect equipment or facilities, but the space is decent enough for a kickaround or a run-around with younger ones.
