Honestly, for a local estate play area, Lon-Y-Glyder punches above its weight. The equipment is kept in decent nick — not always a given around here — and there’s enough variety to keep kids from getting bored too quickly, with a solid slide, swings for the littles and the older ones, and a climbing structure that actually gets used. The basketball hoop is a nice touch, giving the 10-12 year olds something to do while younger siblings run riot on the main kit. Street parking nearby means you’re not lugging everything miles from the car.
