If you’ve got kids bouncing off the walls on a rainy Northland day, this is genuinely one of the better places to burn that energy. The toddler zone is properly set up for the little ones — enclosed, easy to watch over, and way less chaotic than letting them loose in the main area. Older kids (up to 12 and beyond) have the climbing structure and slides to keep them occupied, and parents actually get decent seating with shade, which you don’t always get at these places. Toilets on site, benches nearby, and the whole setup means you’re not constantly on high alert. It doubles as a party venue too, which most Whangārei locals already know about come birthday season.
