Right on the edge of Hamilton Lake, this one’s a proper family day out rather than just a quick stop. The play gear covers all ages — toddlers through to older kids who think they’re too cool for playgrounds (they’re not) — with climbing structures, slides, swings, and a water feature that gets a serious workout on warm days. Shade trees and covered seating mean parents can actually sit comfortably instead of hovering in the sun, and the BBQ area plus picnic tables make it easy to stretch the visit into a full afternoon. The walking path around the lake is right there if you need to burn off some extra energy after lunch. Parking is straightforward, facilities are solid, and honestly it’s one of the better setups Hamilton’s got.
