Noffs Crescent Playground

Coombs doesn’t have a tonne of playgrounds yet, but this one’s worth knowing about. The big draw is really the mounds — kids will spend just as much time rolling down those grassy hills as they do on the slide or swings. There’s some genuinely cool art scattered through the space too, spiral patterns and chunky pebble sculptures that give it a bit of character you don’t see at your average suburban park. The shade sail does solid work over the picnic tables, so it’s actually usable on a hot Canberra afternoon. Parking’s easy including disabled bays, which makes the whole outing pretty low-stress.
