Playground Lumholtz Place

Lumholtz Place is one of those older neighbourhood spots that hasn’t been flashed up with the latest equipment, but honestly that’s part of the charm. The standout is a cloud-shaped plastic climbing structure — quirky-looking and just the right size for little kids who are still finding their feet as climbers. There’s a swing set with both a standard seat and a toddler bucket, plus a kangaroo spring seesaw that the under-fives absolutely lose their minds over. A picnic table and bench make it easy to park yourself while the kids do their thing, and the trees throw enough shade to make a warm afternoon manageable. Parking is tight but it’s there, right near the entrance.
