Brennan Street Playground

Locals in Hackett know this one’s a solid pick on a hot day — the mature trees do a genuinely good job of keeping things cool, which isn’t something you can say about every playground in the area. There’s a tunnel slide and climbing structure that keep the younger kids busy, plus enough open grass to kick a ball around or just let them run it out. The half basketball court is a nice bonus if you’ve got older kids who need something more. Picnic tables make it easy to stretch the visit into a proper outing rather than just a quick stop.
