Small but genuinely decent for what it is — this little Hackett spot got a refresh not too long ago and it shows. The new slide is the main drawcard, though the older metal one is still hanging in there for the kids who prefer a bit of speed. There’s a seesaw, a frog springer, and toddler swings, so it actually covers a solid range of ages without feeling overwhelming. Fresh mulch underfoot and shade trees overhead make it the kind of place you can sit on a stone bench with a coffee and not feel like you’re melting. Quiet street, easy parking — locals know it, and that’s probably why it stays in good nick.
