Right on the edge of the pond in Nicholls, this one’s a solid pick for families with little kids — the play structure has slides, tunnels, and enough climbing to keep them genuinely busy. The swings are always a hit, and the monkey bars give slightly older kids something to actually work at. You’ve got shade trees doing real work on hot days, which honestly makes or breaks a playground in Canberra summers. The walking path around the lake is right there too, so it’s easy to make a morning of it — let the kids burn off energy on the equipment, then do a lap around the water.
