Stedman Place Playground

Tucked up on a hill in Nicholls, this little spot has genuinely good views over the surrounding area — the kind you don’t expect from a suburban playground. Keep your eyes open because kangaroos and rabbits turn up here pretty regularly, which the kids love. The equipment is straightforward — slides, swings, a seesaw, and a climbing structure — nothing flashy, but solid enough for the 2-12 crowd. A few benches and shade trees mean adults can actually sit comfortably while the kids do their thing, and there’s open grass nearby if everyone needs to burn off extra energy. It’s not the biggest playground around, but the setting makes it worth the trip.
