Locals know this one as a solid spot for younger kids to burn off some energy, nothing flashy but the playground does the job. There are benches dotted around which parents will appreciate — somewhere to actually sit while the kids do their thing. Fair warning though, shade is pretty much nonexistent here, so if you’re heading over on a hot Tauranga summer day you’ll want to time it right or slap on some sunscreen. Best suited for the littler ones rather than older kids looking for something more challenging.
