Honestly, with a backdrop like Lake Tekapo, the playground almost doesn’t need to try that hard — and locals know it. It’s the kind of spot where kids run off some energy while parents actually want to stick around and take in those ridiculous turquoise water views. Worth swinging by if you’re passing through on the way to or from Queenstown, especially on a clear day when the Mackenzie Basin is doing its thing.
