Acland Park reserve and playground

The pump track here gets a solid workout most afternoons — kids show up with bikes, scooters, skateboards, you name it. Rolleston’s grown fast and Acland Park has kept pace, with a basketball court and a decent stretch of open grass that actually gives everyone room to spread out. The design feels considered rather than thrown together, which isn’t something you can say about every suburban reserve. Good for a wide age range, and honestly one of the better spots in the area if you want somewhere that holds the attention for more than ten minutes.
