Rangitane Park is one of those spots that actually delivers on the “massive park” promise — there’s genuinely a lot of space here, which makes a difference when kids need room to burn energy. The playground itself is well set up, with a solid climbing structure and a large slide that gets plenty of use. What I like is the open gym sitting right alongside it, so older kids and adults aren’t just standing around watching. Shaded seating means you can actually sit down comfortably rather than squinting into the sun. It’s a quiet neighborhood too, so the whole vibe is pretty relaxed — not the chaos you get at some of the busier Palmy parks.
