Wixams Playing Area

If you’re local to the Wixams area, you probably already know this one’s a solid option — fenced all the way round, sand underfoot, and enough going on (zipline, tire swing, slides, sandbox) to keep kids busy for a good stretch. The enclosure makes it genuinely low-stress for parents, and it’s one of those spots that works well for kids who need a bit more of a contained, predictable environment. There’s decent shade from the trees, picnic tables if you’ve packed lunch, and parking right there. The lake alongside adds a nice touch — plenty of wildlife to point out when someone’s had enough of the zipline queue.
