Newbury Road Recreational Ground

Tucked up at the top of the field rather than right by the entrance, the play area here feels a bit more removed from the street, which most parents seem to appreciate. It’s had a decent refurb recently and the difference is noticeable — things actually look like they belong in this decade now. There’s a fitness area alongside the usual play stuff, plus they’ve kept the basketball court which gets a fair bit of use from older kids and teens. Genuinely one of the better setups in this part of Ipswich for covering all age groups in one spot.
