Oxenholme Playpark (with view of trainline)

If you’ve got a kid who’s obsessed with trains, this little park basically does half your parenting for you. It’s a small, no-frills play area but the view of the trainline is genuinely the selling point — you can hear and spot trains passing, which keeps little ones entertained even between turns on the equipment. Nothing flashy, but there’s something genuinely charming about it that feels very Kendal. Worth a visit if you’re in the Oxenholme end of town.
