Honestly, Queens Park is one of the better spots in Lincoln for a family afternoon out — the play area is well-maintained and has the classics covered: swings, slides, a seesaw, and a merry-go-round that the kids will fight over. It’s fully enclosed, which makes a real difference when you’ve got little ones who like to bolt. Benches are positioned so you can actually keep an eye on everything without having to hover. Once the older ones get bored of the equipment, there’s a basketball court and a decent stretch of open grass to burn off whatever energy remains. It stays clean, which in an urban park is saying something.
