Whittons Park

The zipline alone makes this place worth the trip — kids absolutely love it, and honestly it’s one of the better ones you’ll find at a free park in Lincoln. There’s a solid mix of equipment for different ages: swings, a merry-go-round, climbing frame, seesaw, and slides, all within a fenced-off area so younger ones aren’t escaping while you blink. When the older kids get bored of the play area, the basketball court and open grass field keep them busy — plenty of room for a proper kickabout. Picnic tables mean you can actually settle in for a few hours rather than hovering awkwardly. A genuinely good all-rounder for families with kids across a range of ages.
