If you’re after somewhere in Newton Aycliffe that actually has a bit of everything, this one delivers. There’s a proper basketball court and football pitch, so it’s not just a token bit of grass — kids and teenagers actually have something to do here. The open field is decent sized, good for a kickaround or just letting the dog burn off some energy. It stays pretty clean too, which you notice more than you’d expect at a free public park. Parking on site means you’re not doing laps of the street before you’ve even got started.
