Fox Playground at Lakeside

Honestly one of the better spots in Peterborough if you want a full afternoon out rather than just a quick stop. The water feature is a proper hit in summer — kids gravitate straight to it — and there’s enough open grass that you’re not tripping over other families. The lake nearby makes the whole place feel worth the visit even if you’re just out for a walk or a bike ride along the track. Picnic tables, decent parking, and good sightlines mean parents can actually sit down and relax for five minutes. Works for all ages, which isn’t something you can say about every park around here.
